This is effectively what the government is doing, but since they don’t call it “theft,” but “taxation” and “redistribution,” we accept it.
It’s funny how so many people equate taxation with charity; as if having your property rights violated by being forced to give up your money is somehow compassionate. What part of taxation makes it a sincere form of generosity? I mean, it’s not like you have a choice to pay taxes.
