Or anywhere. Some other actions are equally evil, but none more so.<\/p>\n<p>And make no mistake- every &#8220;government&#8221; is against a (possibly hypothetical) free society. You have freedom- and civilization- in reverse proportion to the amount of &#8220;governing&#8221; imposed on your society. Some of the effects of &#8220;government&#8221; can be mistaken for civilization, but if that&#8217;s all that gives the illusion of civilization, then you have no civilization.<\/p>\n<p>Sure, if everyone in a society is evil, then less freedom might be good. But where do you get these people who will govern? And how do you keep them from becoming evil? (You can&#8217;t) At best you are switching out one evil for another.<\/p>\n<p>In this case, &#8220;best&#8221; isn&#8217;t good enough. It isn&#8217;t good at all. In some cases self defense or escape are the only reasonable options.
