Tax his work,

\nHe works for peanuts
\nAnyway!<\/p>\n

Tax his cow,
\nTax his goat,
\nTax his pants,
\nTax his coat.<\/p>\n

Tax his ties,
\nTax his shirt,
\nTax his work,
\nTax his dirt.<\/p>\n

Tax his tobacco,
\nTax his drink,
\nTax him if he
\nTries to think.<\/p>\n

Tax his cigars,
\nTax his beers,
\nIf he cries
\nTax his tears.<\/p>\n

Tax his car,
\nTax his gas,
\nFind other ways
\nTo tax his —.<\/p>\n

Tax all he has
\nThen let him know
\nThat you won’t be done
\nTill he has no dough.<\/p>\n

When he screams and hollers,
\nThen tax him some more,
\nTax him till
\nHe’s good and sore.<\/p>\n

Then tax his coffin,
\nTax his grave,
\nTax the sod in
\nWhich he’s laid.<\/p>\n

Put these words
\nUpon his tomb,
\n“Taxes drove me to my doom…”<\/p>\n

When he’s gone,
\nDo not relax,
\nIts time to apply
\nThe inheritance tax.<\/p>\n
