It is the nature, and the advantage, of strong people that they can bring out the crucial questions and form a clear opinion about them. The weak always have to decide between alternatives that are not their own.

The Patriot Act and other attacks on our liberties have certainly worked. With friends like George W. Bush, and Barack Hussein Obama who needs enemies? This is a story of the transformation into a Police State.... - [More]

Here is the story of a rapidly developing industry called Geo-engineering, driven by scientists, corporations, and governments intent on changing global climate, controlling the weather, and altering the chemical composition of soil and water – all supposedly for the betterment of mankind. Although officials insist that these programs are only in the discussion phase, evidence is abundant that they have been underway since about 1990 – and the effect has been devastating to crops, wildlife, and human health. We are being sprayed with toxic substances without our consent and, to add insult to injury, they are lying to us about it.... - [More]

Cato-at-Liberty.org | Basically, businesses will have to issue 1099s whenever they do more than $600 of business with another entity in a year. For the $14 trillion U.S. economy, that’s a hell of a lot of 1099s. When a business buys a $1,000 used car, it will have to gather information on the seller and mail 1099s to the seller and the IRS. When a small shop owner pays her rent, she will have to send a 1099 to the landlord and IRS. Recipients of the vast flood of these forms will have to match them with existing accounting records. There will be huge numbers of errors and mismatches, which will probably generate many costly battles with the IRS.... - [More]

FreedomsPhoenix.com | As much as I detest tyrants, sometimes their creativity and ingenuity impresses me. At other times, however, they’re just plain stupid. And I must say, for years now I think the quality of tyrants here in the U.S. has been declining sharply. I don’t mean the recent tyrants have been worse people, just less competent tyrants. And that’s a good thing for their intended victims.... - [More]

FFF.org | The United States once had the finest health-care system in the world, one based on the principles of economic liberty and the free market. That changed in a big way in 1965, when liberal statist Lyndon Baines Johnson secured passage of Medicare and Medicaid, socialistic programs that provided “free” medical care for the poor and elderly.... - [More]

LarkenRose.com | There have been lots and lots of message flying around in the “patriot movement,” screaming bloody murder about Obama’s Commie-Care plan. Call your congressman! Write a nasty letter! Stand around holding a sign! Wildly jump up and down! Pull your hair out! But between all the “political action” alerts out there, I did see a few examples of what is a far better idea: “Let the stupid thing pass, and then ignore it.”... - [More]

Ian R. Crane (Recorded October 2007) describes the aims and objectives of Codex Alimentarius. Codex is the political equivalent of the current toxicology manuals because it endorses and promotes for international trade and consumption in the whole wide world everything from pesticides to irridation, genetically engineered foods and synthetic analogs for drug and nutrients, in preference to bio-compatible natural substances.... - [More]

InsiderOnline.org | There’s no such thing as a free lunch, but the government keeps trying to sell us one anyway. And so it is with government-run health care. Sold to the public in the guise of “free,” it is in fact more costly than any private alternative, for its price tag is more than financial. Those who chose to rely on government health care frequently pay not just in taxes, but in a more costly currency: pain, fear, suffering and death. In the pages that follow you will find 100 stories telling the tales of people who paid a costly price within their nation’s government-run health care system.... - [More]

FFF.org | The statists say that I have the right to take your money from you in order to pay the doctor. Hey, don’t complain — you’ve got the right to health care too, meaning that you can go take everyone else’s money to pay your doctor bills. ... - [More]

CAFR1.com | Ed went to a town hall meeting where a congressman, David Price was pushing the stimulus package and the new health care program. Now Ed is the average guy who asked a few important questions per the CAFR and made a few statements per the CAFR. He has that southern accent and southern demeanor in his questions. Want to see a politician take the defensive? The CAFR is for local governments, do you want to see a politician sidestep by trying to redirect the conversation to Federal government? This short video shows that the average guy can put our local politicians on the spot by asking questions that would hit home runs if answered per collective totals of wealth held by government.... - [More]
