To change masters is not to be free. — Jose Marti y Perez

Topic: ‘Census’

1. Camp FEMA: American Lockdown

Recent legislation attempting to legitimize the use of internment camps to detain U.S. citizens in the event of an uprising or civil unrest has many people asking what nation they live in. Who are the potential domestic terrorists that will end up in these camps? ... - [More]

2. Tom the Census Guy

FreeKeene | Tom the census guy dropped by for a friendly visit this weekend. I don’t receive US mail at the house so when Tom showed up it was my first contact with them. ... - [More]

3. Just Say No to Census

FreeKeene.com | If you want the government people to leave you alone you have to stop obeying them. This is a tough thing to do, and it’s silly to just jump in the deep end of noncooperation, so saying NO to the census people is a good starter disobedience. Have your video camera or audio recorder handy, and don’t be rude or mean. These people are mostly just folks looking for some work; they aren’t the government’s aggressors. They probably don’t realize the money for their checks comes from coercion and fraud.... - [More]

4. National Census Day

Fr33Agents.com | I learned this morning on Twitter that today is- no joke, at least I don’t think it’s meant to be a joke- National Census Day. I would like to take this opportunity to expand a little bit on Pete Eyre’s comments regarding Why You Should Abstain from the Census. Pete pointed out in his commentary that “the Census provided the Army with records to facilitate the internment of over 110,000 Japanese-Americans.”... - [More]

5. Hooray for Obama’s Commie-Care!

LarkenRose.com | There have been lots and lots of message flying around in the “patriot movement,” screaming bloody murder about Obama’s Commie-Care plan. Call your congressman! Write a nasty letter! Stand around holding a sign! Wildly jump up and down! Pull your hair out! But between all the “political action” alerts out there, I did see a few examples of what is a far better idea: “Let the stupid thing pass, and then ignore it.”... - [More]

6. Boycott the Census, Don’t Protest it

GeorgeDonnelly.com | But why should I even open the door for them? Why, when you have a choice, should you interact with government agents? By doing so, you only risk giving them some kind of justification for coming down on you. If their authority is nonexistent or illegitimate then isn’t it much safer and more consistent to simply treat them like any unwanted door-to-door salesman and ignore their notices and ultimatums? If you won’t give the time of day to a traveling salesman or a tele-marketer seeking to trade with you, why pay any attention whatsoever to a parasite claiming a right to your time and privacy?... - [More]

7. I Worked for the Government Today Without Pay

Independant.org | I thought about throwing the second form in the trash, as I had thrown the first one. Then I thought about telling the U.S. Bureau of the Census to go to hell. Then I thought about the large, threatened fines, and I filled out the form. I spent about 15 minutes doing so. My rate of pay for having done so works out to exactly zero dollars per hour, which is somewhat less than I usually charge for my services.... - [More]

8. Government Fines & Harassment For People Who Refuse To Answer Intrusive Survey Questions

BlackListedNew.com | Three million Americans are being forced to answer intrusive questions about their private lives under threat of home visits and fines by the government in the guise of The American Community Survey.... - [More]

9. Don’t Answer the Census

Police StateStrike-The-Root.com | Note that the clause in question speaks only of an “Enumeration” – i.e., the total number of people living in a given geographical region. It says precisely nothing about the ethnicity of said people, their occupations, level of earnings, or how many toilets happen to be in their home. It says nothing about whether you own pets, have a medical condition, or are a certain age. It means how many people live where you do. Period. End of story. But somewhere along the line, some group of smartass politicians decided that wasn’t good enough. ... - [More]
