Today in 2011, many religious individuals beleive this day to be the end of the world.

Man exists for his own sake and not to add a laborer to the State. — Ralph Waldo Emerson

3. Government – The Fallacy of Ad Verecundiam

GnosticMedia.com | Today we’ll be discussing what it means to believe in government. Is government real, or a figment of your collective, religious imagination? Does not voting mean that we’d be sitting around like a bunch of lazy couch potatoes doing nothing? Or, if we use critical thinking, is it really our first course of action to disempower the criminals whom we call politicians? Is voting the only way to effect change? Or is it in reality one of the least effective ways to effect change and gain freedom? And what does it mean to live in a democratic (or “mob-ruled”) society, anyway?... - [More]

7. Cross-Examination – Contraband Turkey Hearing

MarcStevens.net | This is the cross-examination from the Contraband turkey hearing in Austin in Sept. 2010.  The witness to this poultry tragedy is a valiant Texas health department agent appropriately named “Lord”.   Overlooking the fact he and his accomplices have no voluntary support from the community, he selflessly dedicates his days to their protection anyway.  After all, our altruistic hero is a “Lord”.  Being a “Lord” means you don’t bother with trivial matters such as consent.... - [More]

8. Evidence? Not With Tax Agents

MarcStevens.net | I’ve mentioned this on the radio before, and I’ve finally gotten it posted.  This is a very educational audio; it’s a tax hearing from a few months ago with the Maryland Comptroller’s office and you’ll hear exactly why most tax agents/attorneys fight all attempts to question the agents who make assessments: the agents don’t know what they’re talking about. There’s no evidence anyone owes taxes and this is another example from the agents themselves.  We have another recent example from the US tax court where all discovery was denied, including disclosure of the name of the IRS agent who did the assessments.  This is tantamount to not disclosing the name of a cop who wrote you a ticket.... - [More]

10. An Inteview With The Sheriff Who Sold His County

RealityBloger | In this interview, our combative and obfuscating Sheriff, who has turned the power of the Sheriff’s Department over to a “Special Tax Financing District” – also called a “Special Service District” – inadvertently reveals his true colors and lets us know that our new corporate police force is actually a 3rd level of government – a district – that can bypass voter approval to raise revenue/fees (taxes) within its county council created boundaries (service area), and charge those fees with late charges to the homeowners property tax if this fee is not paid within a certain time period.... - [More]
